This colorful jewelry is made with bits and pieces of vintage tins. Biscuits, candy and tea were often packaged in pretty tin containers. Consumers would then save the tins as storage and useful home decor. Lucky for us some people held onto theses tins for a very long time. Tins can date back to the late 1800's. Highly sought after if marked "Made in England" or "Made in Holland". No worries, I only use tins that are damaged and otherwise unwanted.
